House Fun Run

Well done to all the students who participated today in the first ISPP House Fun Run, organised by the Elementary Student Council. Students came out and ran 500m laps around the campus, earning a point for their house team for each lap completed.

In total 1459 laps were completed by the students, which equals 729½ kilometers of running! This is the same distance as going to Palin on the Thai border and back. Mekong house were the champions after running 1 more lap than Lotus.

What has been happening in PE classes this week.

We are know into the 3rd week of the semester and students are busy in participating in their units.
KG students are developing their fundamental movement skills through a variety of different stations each lesson. This week the most popular activities was juggling with scarves, bowling (creating their own patterns with the bowling pins) and jumping over the long skipping rope.

G2 are developing their football skills in order to become effective team players. This week students identified the need to work on passing skills. They enjoyed playing the game 'Naughty children visit the zoo', where they were having to pass the ball through the animal's cage to their friends. We can also say with confidence that they are also good at role playing different animals. Many of the G2 students also enjoyed to opportunity to play football after school against students from CIS and SISC.

Some of the EY students have been developing their climbing skills, by climbing up the ladder in the playground to harvest the passion fruit growing in the garden as well as on the climbing wall

Our G3-5 students continue working on Striking and Fielding games skills, and will soon have the option to try them out in T-ball games against other schools.
